Hurricane Festival on musiikin festivaali , joka tapahtuu kesäkuussa Scheeßel , lähellä Bremen , Saksa.

Historia

Festivaalin ensimmäinen painos pidettiin vuonna 1973, ja sitä kutsuttiin tuolloin Es rockt in der Heide -nimiseksi ( kirjaimellisesti : "Se rokkaa nummilla ") ja toivotti tervetulleeksi 52 000 festivaalin kävijää. Toinen festivaali oli nimeltään First Rider Open Air (1977), meni katastrofaalisesti ja pormestari lopetti sen ennenaikaisesti. Uusia festivaaleja järjestettiin vasta vuonna 1997.
